Step 1
The student should have completed his/her +2 or II PU exams. (Commerce/Science).
Step 2
Student enrolls to a degree at Lohit's Academy College of Commerce and parallely
registers for CA with ICAI
(assistance shall be provided by Lohit's Academy for registration).
Step 3
While the student is doing 1st, 2nd & 3rd semesters, parallely the
student should have completed CA-CPT and
CA-IPCC which in effect means investing 1½ years to complete 3 semesters of the degree @
6 months per semester
and 2 stages of CA i.e. 6 months for CPT and 9 months for IPCC .
Step 4
Assuming that the student has completed CA-IPCC, he/she enrolls for Articleship Training
under a CA associates
firm (assistance shall be provided by Lohit's Academy).
Step 5
While undergoing Articleship Training the student is given a choice
to take up 4th, 5th & 6th semesters of the
Degree, either opting for regular degree classes from 7:00am to 10:00am and thereafter
continuing the day with
Articleship Training which would ideally be from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Students may also
opt for Digital Classes
wherein the student can attend his/her Articleship Training and get access to the
Digital Platform of Lohit's
Academy College of Commerce by getting a unique user ID & Password. When logged in
he/she will be able to
access the Digital Lectures of all the faculty members. The student while viewing such
digital lectures is under an
obligation to answer the questions posted by the concerned faculty. Based on
satisfactory answer and subject to
confirmation by the respective faculty, attendance will be granted for the subject which
makes them eligible for the
degree exam (75% attendance is mandatory as per Bangalore University rules and
regulations.
Advantages
-
A student need not quit degree studies to continue CA.

A student need not pause or take a break to continue CA after the degree.

A student will be parallely completing 4th, 5th & 6th semesters of the degree and
Articleship Training, in
other words, 1½ years of the remaining degree programme would have been completed
along with 1½
years of Articleship Training in addition to the first 3 semesters of degree as
explained above.

Articleship Trainingis for a total period of 3 years, however a student can write CA
Final exams upon
completion of 2½ years of Articleship Training.

Considering the above 2 points, a student has to undergo only one more year of
Articleship Training after
completing a total 6 semesters of the degree to write CA Final exams.

The major advantage is, instead of 7 years (3 years for degree and 4 years for CA) a
student can positively
complete both degree and CA in 4 years which gives him/her a competitive advantage
by saving 3 years
and better financial security with jobs on hand (assistance for job will be provided
by Lohit's Academy)
